Hello out there in internet land!!
It’s been a while since my last update and A LOT has changed since then!
OK, first of all, things are going great in the MattHoltComedy world.
Around the end of 2012 I was lucky enough to begin working more dates for Carnival Cruise Lines. This is an assignment that I truly enjoy so I am thrilled to be working the ships again.
In addition to the cruises, I have also booked a lot of great dates through the end of Spring/early Summer. So things are really busy. That’s awesome, even though it means very few days at home for me.
By the way, “home” means Indianapolis. My relocation to Los Angeles is on hold. After a lot of consideration and discussion with my relocation partner, Jeff Bodart, we decided that the timing wasn’t right to relocate. This was mainly based on how busy our schedules were getting here in the midwest. So, in this business, following the work is usually the best decision. Both of us do intend to spend a few weeks in L.A. later this year to showcase and see what’s happening.
So…Jeff and I are now roommates. But instead of L.A. we chose a location that is more closely aligned with the entertainment industry, Beech Grove, IN!
I have updated my tour schedule on my website and I am excited about all of the places I have scheduled over the next several months. I am adding new dates all the time so I hope that your city will be on that list!
This is shaping up to be my biggest year ever and I could never achieve such a thing without all of the support I have received from all of you. I may not have the biggest fanbase out there…but you guys are awesome and it humbles me to see how supportive you all are of me. I don’t take any of it for granted, and I know how lucky I am to be in this position.
Thanks for your continued support and I hope to see you at a show!
